The Covid Scanner Solution

The mobco-Samsung Covid Scanner solution is a bundled solution of hardware, software and a mobco service contract which may include connectivity.

The service contract has a duration of 12 months. This contract starts the following business day after your order has been placed.

The selected hardware platform is the rugged Samsung XCover 4s. mobco manages the XCover 4s remotely and loads the official Covid certificate scanner app when available (*). 

The XCover 4s runs in kiosk mode. This means no other applications can be installed on the device (**).

The scanner requires a network connection to operate, this can be wifi or mobile internet.

In case you don’t want to worry about SIM cards and subscriptions, select the mobile subscription option below to get a 12 months prepaid package sufficient to cover the needed mobile data volume for your daily scanning operations.

The Samsung XCover 4s comes with 1 year warranty.

(*) Network connection required at time of activation for management controls and app loading.
(**) Upon simple request the device is remotely wiped and reset to factory defaults eliminating the kiosk mode.
(***) The official verifier app, issued by Belgian authorities will be loaded on the scanner when available. mobco can not be held responsible for the availability or functionality of the app.
